Lynch will contend against Rhea Ripley at WrestleMania 40, while McIntyre will go up against Seth Rollins.
The outcomes of Saturday’s Elimination Chamber event in Perth, Australia, will determine the locations of all four WrestleMania global title matchups. Drew McIntyre and Becky Lynch won their respective Elimination Chamber fights and will now compete for titles at the biggest show of the year, so there were no big surprises at the event.
Logan Paul and McIntyre in WrestleMania
Logan Paul, who was already out of the match, gave McIntyre huge hand when he came back in and used brass knuckles to take out Randy Orton. Lynch’s victory was much less contentious because “The Man” only prevailed by outlasting the other five competitors to win the women’s world title.
In the main event of the evening, champion Rhea Ripley wowed the crowd in her native nation with a thrilling victory over Nia Jax, putting the championship on the line. With his victory, Ripley will face Lynch in the championship match at WrestleMania.
2024 WWE Elimination Chamber standings and rankings
In the kickoff match for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship, Candice LeRae and Indi Hartwell square off against The Kabuki Warriors (Asuka & Kairi Sane) (c). Hartwell and LeRae both took the battle to Asuka and Sane, giving the challengers a strong early advantage. That was short-lived, as LeRae soon discovered she was alone with her lover. LeRae finally tagged in Hartwell at the hot tag after a protracted buildup, and the champs promptly ran through their offense.
After a few near falls, the challengers were taken down by Sane, who had stepped in to aid LeRae walk the top rope while Hartwell was assisting her. After that, Sane gave LeRae the elbow drop to win by pinfall. Though he did not have the big moment, Hartwell was clearly the hometown favorite in this one. The match didn’t have much substance, like many kickoffs show matchups, but it was still more than adequate for what it was.
Result: To keep their crowns, the Kabuki Warriors (c) defeated Candice LeRae and Indi Hartwell. Rating: B-
Women’s Elimination Chamber Match: Naomi vs. Raquel Rodriguez; Becky Lynch vs. Bianca Belair; Liv Morgan vs. Tiffany Stratton; The two women that entered the ring first were Naomi and Lynch. Before moving the action onto the platform encircling the ring, they attempted to trade pins and work counters.
One of the match’s early moments came from Naomi, who halfway up the Chamber wall dropped her split leg drop into Lynch. Stratton was the second lady to join the match. Following the newcomer’s typical burst of explosive offense, the battle returned to a pattern of Stratton, Lynch, and Naomi exchanging blows while attempting to make the first elimination of the match.

second person to enter the battle was Morgan, who threw Stratton into the pods’ plexiglass walls right away. Lynch locked in an armbar after forcing Stratton’s arm through the chamber’s chain link wall. Soon after, after Naomi had struck Morgan with a sunset flip bomb, Stratton secured the first elimination when she pinned Naomi. After Naomi was eliminated from the bout, Rodriguez entered. Lynch, Morgan, and Stratton started collaborating to try to eliminate Rodriguez, who posed a serious threat.

Lynch, Morgan, and Stratton started collaborating to try to eliminate Rodriguez, who posed a serious threat.
The large maneuvers picked up speed and there was a lot more action on top of the pods as Belair entered the play. From the top of the pod, Stratton launched a diving swanton onto Lynch, Rodriguez, and Belair. As soon as Morgan struck a flatliner from the second rope, Stratton became the next lady eliminated.
Shortly after, Rodriguez was released from Belair K.O.D. After that, Belair gained control of the battle for a while, circling Morgan and Lynch. After Lynch countered a K.O.D., Morgan snatched a pin on Belair, but Morgan then went into a Manhandle Slam to put Lynch away.
The story of the bout might have been Stratton, who put on an incredible performance and won over the fans to the point where Morgan was jeered for taking her out, rather than Lynch fighting her way into a title contest at WrestleMania. As a result, Liv Morgan is last-pinned by Becky Lynch. Rating: B+
Pete Dunne & Tyler Bate vs. Damian Priest & Finn Balor for the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship (c): With lightning-fast strikes, Bate and Dunne quickly took the fight to the champions. Before Priest was able to blind tag himself into the contest and begin punishing Bate, Balor had to weather the blow. Priest and Balor then worked Bate over while cutting him off from his own corner, assisted by some cheap punches by Dominik Mysterio at ringside. Dunne launched a moonsault from the top rope to the outside, hitting Priest and Balor after getting the hot tag.
With each team coming dangerously close to taking the win, the momentum swung back and forth. The referee threw Mysterio from the ringside after he slid Balor’s foot under the bottom rope to break the pin after Dunne hit Balor with The Bitter End. After Balor executed a Double Tyler Driver, the challengers were once again on the verge of victory, but Priest broke the pin. Up to Balor’s eventual coup de grace to seal the victory, the action swung back and forth.
This tag match was awesome. The action moved quickly, and all four men gave their best, but there wasn’t much tension building up to the winner. Result: To keep the championship, Judgment Day defeated Pete Dunne and Tyler Bate by pinfall. Rating: A-
Seth Rollins and Cody Rhodes made an appearance on The Grayson Waller Effect.
The two greatest stories to come out of the segment were Rhodes’ declaration that he wanted to go one-on-one with The Rock anywhere at any time, and Rollins’ announcement that he was only a few days away from receiving the medical clearance to fight. Rollins assured Rhodes that since The Bloodline never engages in one-on-one matches, he would always have his back. Austin Theory was defeated by Rollins and Rhodes to close out the segment.
Men’s Elimination Chamber Match: Bobby Lashley vs. Randy Orton vs. Drew McIntyre Logan vs. Kevin Owens and Knight Paul: Knight and McIntyre initiated the fight. Knight, who punched the other side of the plexiglass while Owens punched McIntyre’s head into his pod, was surprisingly the main source of offense during the first run. The next man into the match was Owens. He began as expected, scoring several near eliminations of McIntyre and Knight, but all three men managed to stay in the match until Bobby Lashley’s pod opened.
Before Knight and Owens returned, Lashley and McIntyre engaged in a bit of a powerful fight; nevertheless, once more, nobody was eliminated before the subsequent competitor, in this time Randy Orton. Every time Orton executed or made a maneuver, he would grip his back after delivering the hanging DDT onto the platform outside the ring. Paul was the last person to enter, and Orton was waiting outside his pod to launch an instant attack.
Eventually, Paul was stabbed by Lashley through the plexiglass of one of the pods. Shortly after, McIntyre used a Claymore strike on Lashley to cause the first elimination of the contest. When McIntyre tried to score the pin after Knight had given Blunt Force Trauma to Orton and McIntyre, AJ Styles stormed into the room, struck Knight with a chair, and then applied a Styles Clash on the same chair. McIntyre was able to pin Knight by reaching over as a result.
Owens stunned a couple opponents before being eliminated by an Orton rear-naked choke.
Paul tried to use the brass knuckles, but Orton quickly followed up with an RKO to finish off Paul once more. As a result, McIntyre and Orton were the only ones left in the match to compete for Seth Rollins’ title at WrestleMania. McIntyre dropped Orton with a spinebuster that left him clutching his back.
Orton was still down while McIntyre prepared for the Claymore. Orton launched an RKO as McIntyre stood over him, but Paul dashed back in and caught him off guard with a brass knuckle kick. Using his advantage, McIntyre pinned Orton to secure his spot at WrestleMania.
Not as exciting as the women’s Chamber match, but still largely fantastic stuff as the build to WrestleMania continues. Drew McIntyre prevails in the end, final pinning Randy Orton. Grade: B
Women’s World Championship— Nia Jax vs. Rhea Ripley (c): Not surprise, the entire crowd was in favor of Ripley. Jax started quickly, using blows, including a headbutt, to pin Ripley to the ground. Jax also delivered a senton and leg drop to the champion. After a while, Ripley attempted to retaliate by attempting to apply a guillotine choke, but Jax was unstoppable as she launched many powerbombs. Jax would always stop Ripley in her tracks with a powerful move, like a second-rope Samoan drop, if she gained any momentum.
When the action spilled outdoors, Jax used another Samoan drop to drop Ripley on the commentary desk before unleashing a splash through the table. When Jax returned to the ring, he attempted an Annihilator, but Ripley was able to kick out. After hitting a superplex, Ripley was able to avoid taking another Annihilator blow to his body. That was sufficient to set up Riptide for the pinfall that kept him in the championship.
In this bout, Ripley had to work from below, which is always entertaining to see in a match with a physically strong and imposing champion. While nothing particularly noteworthy happened, it was a good match in front of a passionate audience. Ripley will now face Becky Lynch to defend her championship at WrestleMania. Result: To keep the title, Rhea Ripley defeated Nia Jax via pinfall. Rating: B
