Below are the three-game keys, highlights, and final statistics.

Indiana (19-13) and Nebraska (19-13) will play on Friday night at approximately 9 p.m. ET.

THE GAME’S THREE KEYS

1. A robust defense. Indiana stopped Penn State’s shooters, restrained Ace Baldwin, and occasionally used a zone defense in the second half after Penn State gained momentum. The Lions committed 10 turnovers and shot 27.6% overall, including 25% from three. Penn State went 20 of 24 at the free throw line, but the Hoosiers overcame that performance thanks to all of those stats.

2. Ware has another outstanding game. The 7-footer scored 18 points and pulled down 14 rebounds for another double-double. Along with his two steals and three blocks, Ware assisted in fouling out PSU big man Qudus Wahab. With 12 and 11 points, respectively, from Malik Reneau and Mackenzie Mgbako, the starting frontcourt scored 41 of the 61 points.

3. Despite their lack of resources, the guards manage to do enough. In his twenty-four minutes of action, Anthony Leal made the game-winning shot on an offensive rebound put-back. With Trey Galloway missing due to injury, Leal, Xavier Johnson, and Gabe Cupps were all excellent. They held Baldwin’s and Penn State’s shooters in check with a combined total of 18 points, 12 rebounds, and 7 assists.
